Dr. Neelon Patel opened Pinky Promise Pediatric Dentistry in Naperville with the mission of providing quality dental care to children of all ages and needs in her community. We strive to make every child feel welcomed and empowered during their visits, and to provide them with a safe space they can comfortably call their own dental home.
Dr. Neelon Patel, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is originally from Troy, MI. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Lyman Briggs Physiology with a specialization in Bioethics, Humanities, and Society. After graduating, she pursued dentistry and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan. While she was in dental school, she enjoyed giving back to the community and promoting oral health programs for children. Given her compassion and patience towards children, she naturally chose to work with children.
After dental school, she continued her advanced academic endeavors at the University of Michigan and earned a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry. She was trained extensively in monitoring a child’s oral growth and development as well as treating medically compromised children. In addition to this, Dr. Neelon Patel is well trained in the management of extensive dental needs and is able to perform full mouth rehabilitation.
Not only is Dr. Neelon Patel a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, but she is also an Illinois State Board Certified pediatric dentist. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Association and Illinois Dental Society.
She currently lives in Naperville, IL with her incredible husband, their adorable son and daughter, and their fur baby (Rocky). During her free time she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, being outdoors, traveling, arts and crafts, and dancing. She is classically trained in a few styles of Indian dance and loves supporting the arts and cultural activities. Dr. Neelon Patel truly feels very grateful to have the opportunity to care for your children.

Dr. Merva Razzak is delighted to join Pinky Promise! Dr. Razzak was born and raised in sunny Southern California and has a deep love for sunshine as a result.
She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA, earning a bachelor's degree in Psychobiology. Following graduation, she relocated to the East Coast, spending a year in D.C. teaching children at a learning center. Dr. Razzak then returned to California to attend dental school at UCSF in San Francisco. During her time in dental school, she had the privilege of collaborating with various community-centered organizations to promote children's oral health, particularly those with limited access to dental care.
Her East Coast journey continued as she completed her pediatric dental residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout her residency, she gained valuable clinical experience, learning to provide comprehensive oral health care to children with special needs and complex medical histories. This included managing dental emergencies and collaborating with families to create customized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Her interactions with diverse populations inspired her to deliver culturally competent, evidence-based, and empathetic care to every patient.
In her leisure time, Dr. Razzak enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, traveling to new countries with her wonderful husband, exploring and hiking in national parks, and practicing Arabic calligraphy.

Dr. Emily Garvanovic was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the DuPage County suburbs. An Illinois girl through and through, Dr. Garvanovic earned her Associate’s Degree from College of Dupage and completed her undergraduate studies at Benedictine University. She earned her Doctorate from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL and, afterwards, devoted her time to serving the community of Chicago Heights through comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered dental care.
It was while working in Chicago Heights that Dr. Emily saw the overwhelming need for quality dental care for the community’s children. A big believer in, “If not us, then who? If not now, then when?,” she decided to apply to pediatric residency. She takes great pride in having completed her training at New York City’s Jacobi Medical Center, a premiere Level 1 Trauma Center and the only pediatric trauma center in the Bronx and southern Westchester County. Dr. Emily’s time in residency was spent serving vulnerable and underserved populations where she developed a particular love for working with those with special healthcare needs; collaborating with interdisciplinary medical teams to best treat complex orofacial surgical needs; easing the worries of newly expecting and seasoned parents; and always doing her best to make sure the kiddos left each appointment proud of themselves with a big smile on their face.
Dr. Garvanovic considers herself a lifelong learner and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Emily perusing her local library, spending time with loved ones, playing almost any ball sport, attempting to execute a new recipe or returning to the tried and true, and planning her next travel whirlwind travel adventure. Her favorite color is green, she is a salty treats over sweets kind of girl, a diehard soccer fan, and wholeheartedly believes ketchup does indeed belong on hotdogs.
Dr. Garvanovic is honored and privileged for the opportunity to join the Pinky Promise team, to take care of our community’s children, and looks forward to working together to facilitate healthy life-long relationships between your child’s oral health and their overall wellbeing.

With 8 years in the dental field and currently working as an office manager, Sarah balances her professional life with a passion for baking, thanks to her time in culinary school. Outside of work, she is a proud parent to four amazing kids and loves spending time with her fiancé. You’ll often find them at concerts or enjoying family vacations, creating memories wherever they go!

It is important to her that every child has a positive experience when they come into our office. In her free time, Daniela enjoys working out and spending time with her amazing son.
Meet Noemí! She has a genuine love for working with children, as they bring joy to her day. She takes great pride in making sure that child has a wonderful experience during their visit. Noemí is committed to providing the highest level of patient care at our office and is always ready to answer any questions or concerns. When she’s not helping patients, Noemí enjoys traveling and discovering new cuisines! Most importantly, she cherishes spending quality time with her family.

Meet Anahi! It is her mission to provide a fun and positive dental experience for every child. She enjoys educating children and families about the importance of good oral health. When not in the office, Anahi is in school pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. In her free time Anahi enjoys spending quality time with her friends and siblings.
Meet Sydney! Sydney is passionate about providing individualized care and support to our patients and families. With a background in special needs Dentistry, Sydney is a natural at making our patients feel comfortable and cared for. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys giving back to the her community and spending quality time with her family and dog, Lola.
Meet Kiru! Originally from India, Kiru made Chicago her home since 2009. With a wealth of knowledge and a heart full of positivity, Kiru is dedicated to providing the best possible care and education to her patients. Outside of the office, she cherishes every moment spent with her two lively kids, indulging in her love for reading books and listening to music. Despite working in a dental office, Kiru has a sweet tooth for chocolates and cakes, but rest assured, she always remembers to brush and floss after enjoying these treats!
Meet Sunshine! Sunshine is also known as Sunny with her bright and loving energy for kids! She is newly discovering her love for the dental field as this is her second year growing and learning all about teeth! Outside of work she loves to pamper herself and her favorite thing to do is self care including, big fluffy lashes and pink glittery nails which compliment her extra personality. Her favorite place to eat is Chipotle where they usually see her 2-4 times a week. She Loves her ice cream which is her next stop after chipotle. Sunshine is Devoted to making Pinky Promise an exciting place for our patients and break the stigma of the dentist being a scary place by giving a warm welcome and a great job done!
Dr. Neelon Patel’s dedication to her community doesn’t stop when she leaves the office. She loves going to schools and daycares to educate children and get them excited about the importance of their oral health. A firm believer that dental education is the first step towards a lifetime of healthy smiles, she brings the same enthusiasm and compassion to her speaking events, to show little ones that taking care of their teeth and gums can be fun!
